Tony Anderson

As Chief Investment Officer, Tony is responsible for directing Northland’s investment activities and providing support to the CFO with respect to capital raising.

In 1997, Tony directed the sale of the Northland plant at Iroquois Falls through a $308 million IPO for Northland Power Income Fund. This marked the first public financing of a Canadian independent power project. As CFO of the fund and its successor, Northland Power Inc. until April 2011, Tony implemented Northland's growth strategy and spearheaded all acquisitions.

Tony holds a bachelor of science degree and a diploma in management from McGill University.
