Northland is 85% owner of the EUR1.2 billion Nordsee One offshore wind farm. The project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget and began operations in 2017. It is located 40 km off the coast of Germany. Nordsee One has a capacity of 332 MW. Nordsee Two and Nordsee Three, also acquired, are early stage development projects totalling up to 670 MW. They will be developed over the next decade as offshore wind auctions are held and grid infrastructure is made available.
