 Features
  • Located 135 km northwest of Saskatoon in the heart of Canada's grain belt
  • One General Electric 7FA.04 gas turbine with 2.6 DLN equipment and one Alstom steam turbine
  • In 2017, the 7F.04 was upgraded to a 2.6+ model to deliver additional output and the air cooled condenser (ACC) cooling fans were changed to increase the condensing capabilities of the ACC. The additional output coupled with the additional steam generation has increased North Battleford's ability to deliver reserve capacity to the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (SPC). 
  • Operates as a base load facility
  • Fully contracted to the SPC to 2033
  • Comprehensive maintenance agreements with the OEM
  • Northland is owner and operations manager
