Overview |
Ball Hill Wind, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northland Power Inc., is a fully permitted 100 MW wind facility in the towns of Hanover and Villenova, located in Chautauqua County, New York. The project's former owner, Renewable Energy Systems (RES), has transferred the Project to Northland. Northland is in the process of completing all remaining development tasks prior to construction. The project has been in development since 2006 and has acquired a special use permit from the towns of Hanover and Villenova. The permit process included a thorough environmental review by the State Environmental Quality Review spanning all interested and involved agencies. The Project has also received approvals from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, United States Army Corps of Engineers and the New York Public Service Commission. |
